Flashmob - Syntagma Square

Flashmob organisée sur la place Syntagma dans le centre d'Athènes à l'occasion de la Semaine Mondiale des Nations Unies pour la Sécurité Routière (du 6 au 12 mai 2013). L'objectif de cette initiative, soutenue par la Commission Européenne et le Forum Européen des Jeunes, était de promouvoir la sécurité routière, à travers le message "Stop aux accidents de la route".

L'institut Panos Mylonas remercie particulièrement le chorégraphe Fokas Evagelinos et le chanteur Iacovos Argyridis pour sa chanson «Stamata» ("arrête de courir / ralentis"), ainsi que l'ensemble des bénévoles (professeurs de danse et danseurs) qui ont participé à cet événement et les autorités qui ont rendu possible cette manifestation publique.

Flashmob in Syntagma square during the UN Global Road Safety Week (6-12 May 2013) for the promotion of road safety through the message "Stop road crashes". The event was organised in Athens by the Hellenic Road Safety Institute (I.O.AS.) - RSI "Panos Mylonas" with the support of the European Commission and the European Youth Forum.

We especially thank Mr. Fokas Evagelinos for the choreography and the teachers and the volunteers - students of his dance school who embraced the effort of RSI, our volunteers and all those who contributed to the achievement of the road safety flash mob.

We also thank George G. Mylonas and Iacovos Argyridis for the event song «Stamata» (stop running / slow down) being the soundtrack of the flash-mob.
