Faces of Distracted Driving: Xzavier Davis-Bilbo

Le 10 octobre 2010, Xzavier Davis-Bilbo, 5 ans, traversait la rue à côté de chez lui lorsqu’il a été renversé par une conductrice qui envoyait des SMS en conduisant. Xzavier, qui rêvait de devenir footballeur, est aujourd’hui paralysé à partir du diaphragme. Valetta Bradford, la mère de Xzavier, témoigne désormais pour lutter contre l’inattention au volant et a réalisé cette vidéo avec l’aide du Département des Transports de l’Etat du Wisconsin. On October 10, 2010, 5-year-old Xzavier Davis-Bilbo was crossing the street near his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when he was struck by a young woman who was texting while driving. Xzavier, who had dreams of becoming a football player when he grew up, was left paralyzed from the diaphragm down.
