Faces of Distracted Driving: Jacy Good

Le 18 mai 2008, Jacy Good et ses parents assistaient à sa cérémonie de remise de diplôme à Allentown, en Pennsylvanie. Sur le trajet du retour, un jeune conducteur qui était au téléphone a grillé le feu rouge et a percuté leur voiture. Jacy a été gravement blessée et ses parents, Jean et Jay, sont morts sur le coup. Jacy a passé 4 mois à l’hôpital et passe encore une grande partie de son temps en rééducation. Elle témoigne désormais pour lutter contre l’inattention au volant.  On May 18, 2008, Jacy Good and her parents attended her graduation ceremony at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. On the way home, a young driver talking on his cell phone ran a red light, causing a tractor-trailer to swerve and crash into the Goods' vehicle. Jacy was critically injured, and both of her parents, Jean and Jay Good, were killed instantly. Jacy spent four months in the hospital and still spends much of her time in physical and occupational therapy. Jacy is now an advocate against distracted driving.
