Faces of Distracted Driving: Cady Reynolds

Le 30 mai 2007, Cady Reynolds, 16 ans, raccompagnait sa meilleure amie après une sortie au cinéma lorsqu’un jeune conducteur a grillé un feu rouge et a percuté leur véhicule à 80 km/h. Cady a été transportée à l’hôpital dans un état grave et est décédée le lendemain. Emily Reynolds, sa sœur âgée de 17 ans, témoigne désormais pour lutter contre l’inattention au volant et est une membre active de NOYS (National Organizations for Youth Safety). On May 30, 2007, 16-year-old Cady Reynolds was driving her best friend home from a movie near Omaha, NE when another teen driver--who was severely distracted behind the wheel--ran a red light and slammed into her car at 50MPH. Cady was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries and died the next day. Emily Reynolds, Cady's 17-year-old sister, is now an advocate against distracted driving and is an active member of NOYS, the National Organizations for Youth Safety.
