Launched in 2009 by the Asia Injury Safety Foundation, the FIA Foundation and the World Bank’s Global Road Safety Facility, the Global Helmet Vaccine Initiative (GHVI) aims to promote the use of helmets in emerging countries by working in partnership with governments, the private sector and non-governmental organisations.
